Seasonal Greenkeeper

We are seeking a Greenkeeper to join the team at Farleigh Golf Club in Warlingham for a fixed term contract until 31st November 2024, with the possibility of a permanent role thereafter.  To ensure our members and guests have the superb experience the course promises, we need a passionate person to carry out turf maintenance and prepare the course for play.
 
Host of the 2018 PGA Assistants’ Championship and the PGA Fourball Championships in 2019 and 2020, Farleigh is the only national PGA final venue in the area.  With greens built to USGA specifications, the 27-hole course stands up to all weather conditions throughout the year.  With three 18-hole courses in one venue providing a memorable and diverse challenge for all golfers, excellent practice facilities, including a 280-yard range in the valley, short-game areas, an indoor simulator and GPS buggies comprise the golfing experience. 
 
Farleigh is a busy place but it isn’t all about golf.  Our popular bar, restaurant and lounge is great for a relaxed brunch, lunch or afternoon tea, and four function rooms are perfect for weddings, meetings and events.

You will ideally have some greenkeeping experience and seeking to further your career, however we will consider individuals who demonstrate a passion for the industry but who have not had much practical experience.  The role is full time (40 hrs per week) on five days out of seven basis, and will include weekend working.  Flexibility will be necessary where weather conditions dictate.
